Donald and Mary had their ceremony at Baxter Park Pavilion. A venue I love because it is really bright inside and the grounds are great for photos.
It was actually raining in these photos of Mary arriving with her bridesmaids. Luckily it was just a light shower and the rest of the day was dry and warm.
Their pet dog was also a ring bearer 🙂
Mary and Donald started their ceremony with something I’d never seen before …. A mexican hug!……
The Humanist Ceremony had some great moments including a reading acted out by two puppets and a hand-fasting using some bright ribbons.
The reception was held at the Royal Tay Yacht Club in Broughty Ferry
The Yacht Club has great views over the Tay River and access to the beach which is very handy for photos. I loved Mary’s balloon in these, we had a good laugh trying to stop it hitting them both in the face during these photos…
It was a brilliant day! Mary and Donald sent me a lovely email after receiving their photos…

Here are some photos from Ian and Jillian’s wedding a few weeks ago at Forbes of Kingennie. The day started off with some bridal prep photos at their house…
It is great to get all the details and I loved capturing the reactions of Jillian’s parents and Bridesmaids when they first saw her in her dress….
Jillian wrote her Dad a letter, such a sweet moment…
Meanwhile my second Photographer for the day, Lynne, was at Forbes of Kingennie with Ian and the guests…
This was the first time I had seen the new ceremony room at Forbes of Kingennie, it is lovely and bright, great for ceremony photos…
In typical scottish style, the rain started to pour during this group shot so everyone ran inside for canapes and drinks!
The rain stopped eventually so we made a dash for the Boathouse for some photos of Ian and Jillian alone…
Great speeches from Jillian’s Dad, Ian and his Best Man, they got lots of laughs from everyone…
The party was in full swing when I left, no shortage of guests on the dancefloor! It was a great day to take part in, lots of fun and laughter and I got a lovely email from them after delivering their USB which made my day…
