Shady (coolest Groom’s name ever) and Valerie came all the way from Oregon, USA to be married at Fernie Castle in Fife. Valerie’s family are from Dundee but she grew up in the Netherlands so there was a good mixture of guests from around the globe. This made the Ceilidh dancing quite amusing later. The guests were treated to some good Scottish summer weather, the bus from Dundee was diverted past Perth due to high winds on the Tay Bridge and there were a few showers of rain before the wedding casting doubt over whether the ceremony would be outside. Luckily the sun came out and the wind caused a funny moment during the ceremony where Valerie’s veil hit Shady in the face. The whole day had a lovely friendly atmosphere and I’m sure they had a great party after I left. I was booked from Bridal Prep until Dancing and had a great second Photographer to help me out so there are lots of images to work on but meanwhile here are some highlights of the day….
