BACK TO MAIN SITEA few months ago I was excited to be asked to photograph Alison and David’s wedding, you will see why I was excited when you look through the photos here.
They were planning to have their ceremony on the banks of Loch Morlich, a uniquevenue which is basically a beach in the mountains so pretty amazing to photograph. As if that wasn’t exciting enough…. they were also having a High Tea reception on the Strathspey Steam Railway from Aviemore.
They opted for a Humanist ceremony with their family and closest friends gathered next to the shore. They were lucky to miss the typical torrential Scottish rain shower that happened 10 minutes earlier… We had enough time for a few photos on the loch with the Cairngorms in the background before heading to the reception…. We asked for steam in the photos and we got it! I loved all the signs and scenery around the steam railway, if you are up near Aviemore, it is well worth a trip on this train! Just as we were leaving, giant hailstones started pelting us but David and Alison were still smiling 🙂
Congratulations Mr & Mrs Stewart!
