Alex and Sophie had their wedding on a perfect autumn day... however, if they had chosen the previous day to wed, they would have been married in the middle of Storm Babet, the worst storm to hit Scotland in a long time, causing flooding, travel chaos and red weather warnings galore! Luckily all their guests and suppliers made it to Crieff and all was well on the day. Sophie and her bridal party got ready at Crieff Hydro, Alex and his groomsmen were at their home. The ceremony was held at St Fillans RC Parish church in Crieff. A confetti tunnel was set up with the guests for the newlyweds leaving the church, it was one of those rare occasions when the wind blows the right way and the couple get a proper shower! After saying hello to their guests, the wedding car took Sophie and Alex up to the Knock, a local hill will beautiful views of the local area. It was pretty windy, but that makes for good photos so they were happy to suffer for a few minutes! We went back to Crieff Hydro for the reception, got some group photographs before the speeches and meal. In the evening some more guests arrived and the newlyweds cut their cake before a bit of enthusiastic ceilidh dancing. Amazing day!
