Cassie and David booked me to do their Wedding Photography on the world famous ship, the RSS Discovery in Dundee. They were having a wee wedding with their two friends (and a baby) as witnesses on a weekday morning. They stayed at the nearby Malmaison Hotel the night before and walked over to the Discovery together just before the ceremony.
The ceremony was held on the deck of the ship with local Registrar, Maureen Gilchrist taking them through their vows.
It was a warm morning in August and the sun was shining, it is often really windy next to the River Tay so it made a nice change!
The ceremony was short and sweet, 20 minutes after arriving, David and Cassie were married!
The marriage certificate was signed and we went off for a photo shoot around the ship....
The RRS Discovery sits right next to the V&A Dundee so we wandered along to take some photos there .....
We managed to capture some views of the River over to Fife as well. Once the shoot was finished, the happy couple and their friends headed to their favourite Café for brunch and I was home for lunch! The perfect, no fuss wedding day!
