In the heart of Carnoustie, The Rookery provided a beautiful backdrop for Garry and Colette's vows in a small, intimate humanist wedding ceremony, surrounded by their closest family and friends. We took some group shots on the balcony afterwards, then headed to Carnoustie beach for some couple photos. Apart from having a wee, relaxed wedding, their main wish was for a windy, sunny photo shoot on the shore. Luckily the weather gods had been listening to our prayers, it was such perfect weather for September! Colette was well prepared with her white wellies and braved a dip in the water. We took some more photos on the way back, just as the sun was setting over the golf course. They cut their cake when we got back and they sat down to enjoy dinner together. I love when a couple plan a wedding that will make them truly happy and everything comes together perfectly, this was definitely one of those days :)
